In its judgment of May 12, 1998 (AZ: 312 O 85/98), the Hamburg Regional Court ruled that the creation of a link to an external website may involve joint responsibility for the content of the linked website  website. According to the court, this can only be ruled out by clearly distancing yourself from the linked content.
