Mini Castle (71)

The first glance brings back memories of "Cathedral" , but Mini-Kastell fully corresponds to the game Kastell / Castello, which was devised by Niek Neuwahl and is played differently.
 

It is played in pairs. Each player has 7 building blocks in the form of 7 different tetrominoes to be placed on an 8x8 game board.

Whoever can bet last wins.

In order to make the game board variable, there are 3 trees that can be freely distributed on the board before the game starts. This results in more than 4000 different board variants, including reflections.
At least that's what Niek Neuwahl says and adds: "...if I calculated correctly".

The game instructions also offer 6 rule variants.
